Your laptop hosts your workspace.
Your private workspace

Let’s get you connected.

Turn on Tailscale on this device, then open your laptop’s relay address.

Find this in your laptop’s setup wizard. A hostname ending in .ts.net works too.

Test private connection ↗

Your relay key and passkey are entered on your private relay. This start page remembers only the address.

MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME

What would you like to do?

Just your browser and Tailscale.

View agents and send instructions from any of your connected devices.

  1. 1

    Connect this device to Tailscale

Install Tailscale ↗, sign in to the same account as your relay laptop, and turn the connection on. You should see your relay laptop in the device list.

  2. 2

    Open your workspace above

Keep the relay laptop awake and Agent Remote running. Your browser opens its private HTTPS address directly.

  3. 3

Unlock, then make yourself at home

Enter your relay key and verify a passkey. You can use a phone passkey or security key on laptops without a fingerprint reader.

New device? On an unlocked device, choose Settings → Link another device. In the Android app, choose Authorize another phone. Enter that one-time code using Link a new device on the new browser.

You can use the browser or your existing Android app. On a phone, add the private dashboard to your home screen for an app-like shortcut.
My relay won’t open. What should I check?
  1. Tailscale must say Connected on this device and on the relay laptop.
  2. Both devices must be on the same Tailscale network. Look for the relay laptop in the Tailscale device list.
  3. Keep the relay laptop awake and the Agent Remote launcher running.
  4. On Android, check that your browser or Agent Remote app is included in Tailscale’s app routing. Another VPN may replace the Tailscale connection.
  5. Use Test private connection above. If the new tab shows "ok":true, the network route works. Return to the dashboard for login.

This public page can’t inspect your VPN or private relay in the background. The connection test opens directly on your private relay.

Do I need an APK or a paid server?

A browser works on phones, tablets, and laptops; the existing Android app works too. The relay runs on your own laptop, so server rental is $0. Tailscale’s free Personal plan is for eligible personal, non-commercial use. Model-provider subscriptions/API usage, internet access, and laptop electricity remain separate.
